Abstract

Today, IT is one of the cornerstones of any agile organization that intends to take step on the stage of competition with others and also to meet internal needs and its customers. Thus, the rate of impact of IT on increasing organizational agility has been explored in this study in the medical equipment and instruments administration so that to determine how much it influenced in organizational agility with respect to high costs for implementation of IT in the given organization. To achieve this objective, the conducted study is an applied research and it has been carried out using field studies and by survey and presence in the organization and review of documents and evidences as well as distribution of questionnaire and data collection. Accordingly, it was characterized that organizational agility might be affected by parameters of rate of using IT, responsiveness potential, competency and flexibility. With respect to the given data, it can be concluded that even given the high costs for implementation of IT this issue was inevitable and any organization looks for organizational agility to meet suitably needs of customers (inside and outside organization), survival and also competitive potential should utilize IT.
