About the Journal

Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research publishes papers devoted to quantitative social science research and methodology. Articles that illustrate the use of quantitative methods to empirically test social science theory will be accepted. The journal emphasizes research concerned with subjects or methods that cut across traditional disciplinary lines. Special consideration is given to methods that have been used by only one particular social science discipline, but that may have an application to a broader range of areas with the ultimate goal of testing social science theory.

JSSHR is an open-access journal. There is no publication charge.  JSSHR publishes 4 issues in each year.

Publication Ethics

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JSSHR respect all aspects of publication ethics of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). COPE is a forum for editors and publishers of peer-reviewed journals to discuss all aspects of publication ethics. COPE provides advice to editors and publishers on all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct. COPE does not investigate individual cases but encourages editors to ensure that cases are investigated by the appropriate authorities (usually a research institution or employer).
